You guys are probably familiar with how an author joining the comments steers conversations and hides some responses behind the “all replies” button... I’m staying away from the comments for a few minutes to let them take on a life of their own and start new conversations. (Of course, if someone finds an error or typo, I’ll jump in sooner.)

I just to want to avoid steering the comments one way or another until the article gets more responses. It helps everyone see each other’s replies better.
